Fold-out charts in excellent condition. 238pp. Supposedly found by Napoleon in Egypt around 1798, used by him to make any important decision and subsequently lost again, the Book of Fate turned up again in 1822 as a translation from the German.

He continues: 'It is evident that if they have this agreeable effect on you that though there may be some difference in our ages there can be very little in our spirits; & I should be charmed if next time you are in London you would come to see me – in the morning.'
