One script a Final Draft belonging to an auditioning actor Jenny Sullivan with her name in holograph ink on the front wrapper; the other script is bound in red faux leather with gilt tiles a color photograph of a human fetus bound in and both scripts bear letters from a professor at the University of California describing the possible methods and techniques detailed in the screenplay and their applicability to contemporary 1974 ethical and legal conditions. Brief annotations on laid-in slips in holograph ink throughout the first script. Laid in is a signed letter from director Nelson to Jenny informing her that she is a finalist for the role of Victoria ultimatly the role went to Barbara Carrera. <br/> <br/>An exploitation film owing much to "Bride of Frankenstein" as well as the technological advances with DNA in the 1970s. Dr. Paul Holliston Hudson is a scientist who discovers a method to accelerate the birth cycle to just a few days. Final Shooting Script for the 1954 film with blue yellow and green revisions throughout. <br/><br/>Based on the 1870 novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne. Walt Disney's "20000 Leagues Under the Sea" was one of the most expensive and ambitious productions of its time. A 200 foot submarine a 225 pound diving suit a specially built soundstage with a 90 x 165 foot tank and a giant squid which weighed two tons and required a crew of 28 to operate were just some of the monumental challenges of the production. Disney's first CinemaScope motion picture "20000 Leagues Under the Sea" was a resounding success and went on to be considered one of greatest live-action adventure movies ever made.<br/><br/>In 1868 off the coast of San Francisco Professor Aronnax Paul Lukas his assistant Conseil Peter Lorre and master harpooner Ned Land Kirk Douglas set sail upon a armed frigate to investigate a spate of sinkings rumored to be caused by a sea monster. After months of searching the "monster" is spotted sinking a merchant vessel and the frigate attacks only to be sunk themselves. Adrift in the ocean the three come upon a strange metal vessel and realize the "monster" is a "submerging boat." Her first film roles include Cupid’s Fireman 1923 with Buck Jones Riders of the Purple Sage a925 Hands Up! 1926 and The Chinese Parrot 1927. She also starred as Rebecca in the film adaptation of Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm 1932 with Ralph Bellamy followed by Winner Take All with James Cagney John Ford’s Pilgrimage 1934 with her last film Captain Calamity released in 1936. In 1861 the Federal government hired her to ship supplies to Fort Sumter but it was fired on by cadets from The Citadel. D. 2pg. 8†x 12â€. June 16 1855. Punta Arenas Nicaragua. A contemporary copy of a financial agreement for the steamer Star Of The West. The document states in part “In the Article of Agreement dated March the twentieth one thousand eight hundred and fifty five entered into between me and acting legally for Michael Baker of South Dartmouth Mass as his attorney of the first part and Capt E W Turner of the Steam Ship Star of the West of New York of the second part – it was agreed to appoint Mr. Charles Morgan of New York to be the approver of the names on the ‘Bond’ for the Sum of Twenty five thousand dollars to be given by the said E W Turner pledging payment on receipt of the first sample of the ‘Guano’ at any port from the Island or Islands in the Pacific Ocean the Geographical position of which the said Michael Baker and myself have bound ourselves to furnish and have for ever transferred all right and title thereto as set forth in the Article of Agreement…â€. A quick web search turns up advertisements for the company from 1887 through 1916.<br/><br/>Trade show photographs tend to be fairly scarce and are excellent supplements to trade catalogues which are often only illustrated with cuts or half tones. Like this Analectic printing none of them includes the author's name. <br/> This printing is also famous for the editor's oft-quoted anecdotal introduction: "These lines have been already published in several of our newspapers; they may still however be new to many of our readers. Besides we think that their merit entitles them to preservation in some more permanent form than the columns of a daily paper." The editor describes the "circumstances" under which the song was composed. "He watched the flag at the fort through the whole day with an anxiety that can be better felt than described.
