[Figurato Occultismo] (cm.21,4) bella e attraente mezza pergamena ben restaurata, sguardie e piatti antichi in carta decorata. -- cc. 70 nn. + 2 cc. bianche originali. Frontis figurato + 34 incisioni in rame nel testo finemente eeguite dal celebre Girolamo Porro; esse raffigurano simboli e allegorie relativi alle varie profezie. Assai interessanti alcune: l' ultima è un oracolo turchesco con scritte in arabo e e turco; ruota di Pio IV col sole e la luna, predice i successori dei futuri pontefici; la n° XIX sembra alludere alla rivoluzione francese. Edizione originale bilingue ( Italiano - Latino) della più bella versione delle celebri profezie che contiene per la prima volta la vita dell' autore. Vedi la lunga notazione in Dorbon-Aine.
