The text stresses that they are very separate concepts but basically then introduces the "Polynesian" concept of "Huna" or "The Secret" as a kind of catch all theory that makes all such things possible with out the fear of being "dominated" by the willpower of the hypnotist. Framed as "an ancient system of psychological knowledge" Huna is touted here as a key to universal understanding and the gateway to allowing oneself to be healed and helped by hypnotism without the risk of 'mental domination.'.
