L'œuvre mêle la finesse de l'art traditionnel rajasthani à l'authenticité d'un document historique. Support : Papier timbré ("Court Fee Stamp") du gouvernement de Jaipur d'une valeur de 10 Roupies. Datation du document : Le document est daté "Samvat 2007" en devanagari, ce qui correspond à l'année 1950 du calendrier grégorien. Sujet : Scène de cour romantique figurant un couple royal dans un pavillon ornementé, accompagné d'une servante. Le fond offre un paysage de collines et de lac aux teintes crépusculaires. Des rehauts d'or enluminent les vêtements et l'architecture. La peinture surmonte le sceau officiel bleu et les annotations manuscrites d'époque. Dimensions : De la feuille : 21,8 x 34,3 cm ; De la peinture : 14 x 17,9 cm État : Document ancien présentant une belle patine du temps. Le vieux papier comporte de légères taches d'humidité, des rousseurs et quelques perforations ou petits manques d'usage normaux pour un document administratif indien de cette époque.
