2007438030Phoenixville Pennsylvania: Windrose Studio Publications 2007. Unbound. Fine. Small collection of letters and one form including two Autograph Letters Signed one Printed Letter Signed with a "letter from the editors" on the verso one subscription form and one circular advertising Bruckner's new work The Cards of Fra Giovanni. 8½" x 11" or smaller. Fine.

A small collection of letters and forms from Pennsylvania artist Peter Bruckner Windrose Studio related to "Community-Supported Art" CSA and anthroposophy. The letters addressed to a 2007 subscriber both thank her for her support and give information on upcoming projects. Included is a printed letter from three of Bruckner's editors extolling his virtue as a storyteller "that has arisen out of the fountainhead of anthroposophy in his soul." It also mentions that Bruckner is currently writing a book on the subject THE ZODIAC PATH: A Contribution to the Ongoing Work with Rudolph Steiner's Waldorf Curriculum.

"Community Supported Art" apparently a play on the term "Community Supported Agriculture" finances the creation of art by attracting subscribers who don't mind paying for their art ahead of time. In this case $150 will get you 10 titles over the course of a year or as many as you'd like to purchase individually at $15 apiece. According to Bruckner ".this is not about buying and selling but rather about creating the needed support for this material to become available in print." An unusual sales pitch with a strong spiritual bent. Windrose Studio Publications unknown

A large load of alfalfa seed loaded on a four-horse wagon posed in front of A.L. Hare's Implement store in Norcater Kansas.

We find numerous ads for Hare's store in period newspapers plus a headline in the Norcater Dispatch that Hare's business was destroyed by fire September 19th 1912.
