This is a fine softcover copy of the Japanese fashion magazine, Hanatsubaki, for the full year, 1999. January through December. Edited by Nakako Hayashi. Design and layout by Nakajo Design Studio. Illustrated both in color and black & white. Text mostly in Japanese, but each issue has title in English, and some section headings in English too. Each of the 12 issues first page is a fold-out color illustration, like a poster. Packed with interesting photographs of Japanese fashion at the end of the last century. 12" high X 9" wide, about 400 pages. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
Opera incompleta composta del solo volume 3 in brossura, edito nell'anno 1929, relativo allo studio del Leporinus. Lo stato conservativo è buono, in quanto al suo esterno il volume si presenta ingiallito e con tracce di fioritura e polvere soprattutto al piatto anteriore. I tagli sono imprecisi, ma l'interno è ben conservato con testo pulito e fruibile, interamente in lingua inglese. Pagine intonse. Bellissime le figure al testo e le 17 tavole in b/n che fanno da corredo al volume. Volume L numero 3 edito in memoria del Museo di Zoologia comparata al college di Harvard. Fine large gelatin silver print showing Mohammed Nadir Shah the Afghan King leaving the palace with his military delegation in c. 1930s. A rare photographic image. Mohammed Nadir Khan or Shah (1883-1933), was King of Afghanistan from 15 October 1929 until his assassination in November 1933. Previously, he served as Minister of War, Afghan Ambassador to France, and as a general in the military of Afghanistan. He and his son Muhammad Zahir Shah, who succeeded him, are part of the Musahiban.
