Presentation Copy inscribed by Toole to Liddell Geddie at the upper right of the top cover. The 5 full page illustrations depict Toole in various of his famous roles. The biographical excerpts are from the reminiscences by Toole as chronicled by Joseph Hatton. Geddie may have been about 10 years old when he received this. Geddie went on to become a leading literary light in Edinburgh as the editor of "Chamber's Journal" and "Chambers Encyclopedia of English Literature" among others.
