Arguably the most important auction of Chinese ceramics of the decade records were broken and the total value of the sale topped USD 10M only two lots accounting for almost 20 percent of this total Of particular note were two sets of objects each sold as one lot - 8 peach bloom glazed porcelains and a full set of 12 'famille verte 'month cups both sets of the Kangxi period. 102 lots total all fully illustrated in colour with all base reign marks illustrated in colour in appendix. While predominantly porcelain the sale included a small selection of fine jades glass bronzes and textile. Essay by Rosemary Scott on the importance of the collection.
