From the introduction: "The 241 items in the sale were mostly published between 1600 and 1750. There are two incunabula one the first edition of Ptolemy's Geographia in Latin lot 3255 published in Vicenza in 1475 a rare book not found for example in the fine collection of that work in the Wardington Library and the other the Breydenbach. There are some twenty-seven sixteenth-century printed books in Latin English German French and English and with the addition of some works in Dutch the same spread of languages is found after 1600. There is one book in Swedish a privately printed work on the Far East. There are also a few manuscripts one in Italian the others in English. Near Fine.
