Nicely preserved book and jacket. The first novel of science fiction icon Ben Bova from the equally iconic Winston series of juvenile sci-fi titles a memorable 37-title group issued between 1952 and 1961. Many of us remember the Winston stories with a great deal of nostalgia. The Star Conquerors - which also turned out to be the first of three titles in what would become Bova's "Watchmen" series - is among the rarest and most sought after of the Winston books in one of the better-preserved copies.
