The work comprises I: The Local Statutes of that Church; II: The Inscriptions upon the Monuments, Tombs and Grave-Stones; III: An Account of the Bishops, Priors, Deans and Arch-Deacons; IV: An Appendix of Monumental Inscriptions in the Cathedral Church of Canterbury, supplementary to Mr. Somner's and Mr. Battely's Accounts of that Church; V: Some original Papers relating to the Church and Diocese of Rochester. The text is in English throughout, with the exceptions of the charter and statutes which are given in the original Latin. A second issue with a cancel title was published in 1723.
