in-8°, 221 pp., broche, couv. illustree. Bel exemplaire [NV-30]
This is a good hardcover reference copy in the original heavy blue cloth covers printed in gilt. Covers are dusty, gilt titles faded, also there was apparently an emblem attached to the shield-shaped embossed area on the front cover, the emblem no longer present. Some foxing to preliminaries, and occasionally throughout (minimal), a few pages roughly handled. Rusty paper-clip marks to the preliminaries. Also a tiny "withdrawn PML' stamp to the bottom of the copyright page, so possibly ex-private collection, no other ownership marks whatsoever inside or outside. Overall still a very good reference copy of a very scarce work, detailing the restoration of the Neapolitan church S. Maria di Donnaregina. Text in Italian. 120 black & white photo plates. 10 1/2" high X 8" wide, 297 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
