Edizione assai migliorata: oltre i tuoni de' Salmi, Inni, Antifone, ec. in canto fermo, vi sono moltissime aggiunte non mai ancora in quest'Uffizio state stampate...di modo che ora questo Libro pu? anche servire di Diurno per gli Ecclesiastici 1 23x16,5 cm., legatura in piena pelle, tagli rossi, pagg. XXIV, 440, frontespizio con cornice floreale e testi in rosso e nero, bicolore anche in mokte altre pagine, tutte con filetti di cornice, in antiporta incisione dell'Annunciazione in pagina intera con cornice. 6 carte musicali per li Salmi, Inni per tutto l'anno, per Messa delle Feste maggiori, pagine sciolte, testo quasi tutto in lingua latina, titoli quasi tutti in italiano, tracce di normale uso, buon esemplare.
In 12° (15x8,5 cm); 32 pp. e una bellissima tavola in antiporta con immagine della Madonna di Loreto incisa da Giovanni Brun celebre incisore che realizzò anche un conosciutissimo album di vedute romane. L’immagine porta la didascalia “Effige di Maria SS.ma Lauretana”. Brossura coeva a motivi amaranto, verdi e gialli. Prima rara edizione, nessun esemplare censito in ICCU, di quest’opera di devozione Mariana dedicata alla Madonna di Loreto ed in particolare alla sacra immagine venerata nella chiesa di San Vincenzo a Cantalupo, l’odierna Mandela. Mandela viene citata da Orazio come Pagus Mandela, nome che riprese solo dopo il 1870; nel Medioevo si chiamava infatti Cantalupo Bardella e con tale nome venne concessa come feudo da Papa Celestino III agli Orsini. Il paese era noto anche come Cantalupo Bardella ed fu a lungo feudo della nobile famiglia dei Marchesi Nunez. La tavola qui presente è una delle rarissime riproduzioni conosciute dell’immagine sacra conservata nella Chiesa di San Vincenzo Ferrari. Ottimo esemplare.
