The book is good with small tears to the paper the spine tips and bumps to the upper corners. Previous owner's name and sticker to the top of the front free-endpaper appears to be the only writing in the book. 4 small glue dots to the title page where a newspaper article appears to have been removed. Binding is solid but the gatherings are not tight and the book lays open easily. The jacket is truly poor with large tears chips crinkling and soil. Buy this copy for the book and hide that jacket away in a drawer somewhere. Unpaginated but with 149 full page black and white plates. <br/><br/> Noyes Press hardcover
