Comte Bernard de Perthuis de Laillevault head of the house of Perthuis served with the RAF during WWII before establishing a successful career as a painter of murals and other artwork. The plates printed by the New York art printer Albert Carman are of exceptional quality generally in two or three colors on heavy art paper. Preliminary essays by Pierre Claudel and Stephen Galatti Director of the American Field Service.
