These styles include the Rambler the Cresto the Waverly the Ardsley the Carmen the Hy-Tide and the Dixie. This catalog features the latest company styles shown against the backdrop of color cover art of shoes worn by the Queen of Sheba Helen of Troy Cleopatra Pocahontas Betsy Ross and others. Founded originally in 1893 by Julian future Treasury Secretary under Roosevelt and Truman and Kokenge a Kentucky shoe manufacturer the company transferred operations to Columbus Ohio in 1932 and operated until 1975.
