"After WWI, a new generation grew up in Hungarian art. Most of these artists became known in the 30's. The core of the exhibition is made up of the works of the Szonyi Circle (István Szonyi, Vilmos Aba-Novák, Erzsébet Korb and Károly Patkó) and their followers (like Jeno Paizs Goebel). In the twenties, they were the Hungarian counterpart of international neoclassicisms."
