This guide map illustrates the venue for the 10th Allied Kyōshinkai Exposition of Kansai Prefectures held in Nagoya from March to June 1907. The exposition highlighted agricultural and industrial products with a notable section dedicated to silk. Numerous stalls offered local goods from each participating prefecture which extended beyond the Kansai region. <br><br>The map marks key areas including agricultural industrial machinery and patent pavilions surrounded by local produce stalls. A special exhibition on the Port Arthur sea battle is positioned near movie and charity halls. Beer halls and food stalls are also indicated. Folding colour guide map to the site of the 5th Domestic Industrial Promotion Exposition held in Osaka in 1903 text on top right 54 x 78.5cm. Reverse a little soiled minor wear folds a very good copy. This guide map of the 5th Domestic Promotion Exposition depicts the layout of the exposition grounds and provides detailed information about the various pavilions. The exposition was held at the site where Tennoji Park now stands. Over 5 million people visited the event between March and July 1903. <br><br>The map highlights agricultural and industrial pavilions along with a pavilion showcasing a refrigeration machine. The Taiwan pavilion features produce from the recently acquired territory. Displays of local produce and numerous food stalls offered entertainment and refreshments for visitors. This small brochure highlights the Port Arthur Sea Battle Exhibition Hall a pavilion featured at the 1910 Kansai Fuken Rengo Kyoshinkai 10th Kansai Prefectural Joint Exposition held at Tsurumai Park in Nagoya from March to June 1910. Attracting over 2.6 million visitors the exhibition showcased diorama models of the battle operated by newly imported electrical machines from the United States. The brochure emphasises the immersive experience suggesting spectators would feel transported to the heart of the conflict. Entrance fees are also listed. The French government brought in people from their colonies all over the globe to recreate architectural styles and temples including a massive reproduction of Angkor Wat even including an entire Senegalese Village. The lighting costumes and designs were at the height of the Art Deco era. In holograph on the lower margin is " At Brennan & Davis' Monday & Tuesday Apr 20th & 21st." Faint foxing which is less pronounced than in the scan; else very good. The firm of Radtke Lauckner & Co. were publishers and importers of etchings engravings and photographs located at 6 East 18th Street New York during the 1890's. Apparently they arranged traveling exhibitions of their wares at various locations; this elaborate invitation was for a showing at Brennan & Davis' a jewelry stationery and book store in Bradford Pennsylvania.
