This is a very good hardcover copy in a very good dustjacket with light wear. The title in gilt letters on the front of the jacket is a bit scuffed. Signed and inscribed by Henry Dunay to a client on the half title-page, which has a color illustration of one of Henry Dunay's brooches. The inscription is above the small color illus., his signature just below it, dated December in the year of publication. Illustrated throughout in color. 12" high X 9" wide, 223 pages. Text in Russian and Lithuanian. This is one of a series of several volumes produced by these two editors on old Russian artifacts and folk art. This volume is on old Lithuanian jewellery and ironwork. The works are from the 2nd through the 15th centuries. 601 pieces illustrated in black & white with occasional color plates.
