The attractive illustrations depict variations of dress, insignia, headgear, accoutrement, etc., as well as pieces of equipment. Previously the property of the Württembergischen Landesfeuerwehrverbandes with a contemporary stamp to that effect at blank corner of first page. Later old collector's stamp inside cover. KvK locates just a single institutional holding worldwide, that in Kreisarchiv Zollernalbkreis, Balingen. No copy is located on OCLC worldwide.

In addition to Wrobel's fine plates, this much sought-after publication contains a large collection of rare contemporary photographs of German armour at Arnhem, some taken illicitly by Dutch civilians and others from the film 'Theirs is the Glory'. Extremely scarce.
