Plus 10 colour plates of uniforms, one of which is colour lithograph; 2 line-drawn plates; 2 photographic plates with 34 depictions of buttons. Hardcover, bound in the original red cloth with gilt embossed lettering and crown, bit shabby, rebacked with new spine, manuscript title on spine, new endpapers; few plates with offset in blank margins, one line-drawn plate edge-frayed with tear at blank margin. A sturdy copy, just about good. ~ First edition. Fully collated. The extended, illustrated advertisement section is divided into two parts, one at the beginning and one at end. This copy contains an amendment "Colonial Service: Evening Dress" tipped-in. From the library of C. P.
