This particular set comes from the bequest of renowned uniform historian and researcher Dr. Pieter Roelse and includes, loosely inserted, a number of rare period newspaper and magazine photographs related to the book's subject, extracts from manuals on Italian military uniforms, etc. Many of these clippings correspond directly to illustrations in the book and enhance image and word, providing extra, useful reference. It should be noted that this material, the result of a lifelong research, study, and collection is provided herewith strictly as-is, gratuitous, and subject to what is physically present in the book.
