In a very good condition, rather fine plates. ~ First edition. Very rare original album, complete with all the wonderful plates. One bibliographical source (RHC Groninger Archieven) quotes publication period that lasted two years, from 1914 until 1915.

This particular copy comes from the bequest of renowned uniform historian and researcher Dr. Pieter Roelse and includes, loosely inserted, a number of newspaper and magazine clips and photographs related to the book's subject, some of which are uncommon.
