Bookplate of "HT"; i.e. Henry Tozer on the front pastedowns<br /> .<p><br /> Laid in are two autograph letters signed by Muirhead Bone and addressed to Mr. Tozer. The first dated December 1949 discusses books by Bone and his family. The second dated February 1950 discussed mostly an exhibit of pictures Bone's son Stephen.<br /> <p><br /> The recipient is likely Henry Edward Spernon Tozer 1864-1955 a highly regarded painter of country life. <br /> <p>.
