Sur chaque planche, une personne représentée dans le costume typique d'une vallée ou d'une grande région de Suisse. Plusieurs figures peuvent etre attribuées aux modèles originaux des anciennes séries de costumes de Konigs. D'autres sont des copies d'Ïuvres de G. M. Lory, J. M. Usteri et G. Volmar. Quelques rousseurs marginales, principalement sur les serpentes, sinon très bel exemplaire.
