In these five “note”, Schiaparelli reports his discoveries about the slow rotation of Venus, and for the first time makes the hypotesis on the blanket of clouds surrounding the planet, that is considered his discovery. The serie is materially taken from the volumes of the “Rendiconti del Reale istituto lombardo di scienze e lettere”, including the plate.
