EDITION LIMITED TO 1,107 COPIES SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR IN THE FIRST VOLUME. One of the outstanding town histories of the early twentieth century. The blocks for the illustrations were prepared by Emery Walker and the work is complete with list of subscribers, addenda and corrigenda, an extensive bibliography and indexes of persons and places.

Torr's classic account of local lore and anecdotes in the area around the village of Lustleigh. This is an above average set albeit showing signs of age and usage. First Series (second impression, 1918, five months after the first edition); Second Series (first edition, 1921); Third Series (first edition, 1923).
