Titling on spine is slightly faded. Volume II - Published by The Lord Baltimore Press in Baltimore MD. Brown cloth on boards with blind stamped double lined rulings around front and back. Dark brown titling to front and spine. Book is marked and discolored to spine due to either prior moisture or some other event. Both books are tight square and relatively sharp-cornered with no major faults or markings other than already described and some minor foxing to endpapers. From the Preface: ""This book is intended for those who have not made a study of American antique furniture and do not wish to do so but are fond of it and desire to know the principal periods and styles.
