A legal opinion being rendered regarding the arrangements made by law to collect the monies from the toll authorities by banks and their guarantors for the New York State canal system specifically mentioning here the Buffalo and Tonawanda collections. Names mentioned are John L. Ganson noted as 'now deceased' and Thomas Brown; also Sweeney and Evans. The opinion delineates responsibilities of the banks and individuals who are the contract guarantors and cites precedence relating examples and giving the chronology of the case in hand. Discovered by exploitation film maker Hugo Haas Beverly Michaels was posed for B-movie stardom till he dropped her to promote Cleo Moore. Photos show a "large revolving drum" construction shop a compression machine what looks like a drop test chassis with crate affixed two photos of several men in a laboratory using a microscope and several other instruments a blueprint in progress two closeup images of instruments including a mullen tester a very large press used to compress pieces of plywood together testing in action and several other images. No doubt used as a sales tool demonstrating how thoroughly the company could build and test crates for reliable performance.<br/><br/>The tenth edition of Industrial Research Laboratories of the United States 1956 locates the Atlas Plywood Corporation's Department of Research and Design at 431 Market Street Lawrence Mass. the same address as on the card cover of this folder hence our approximate dating. 1930589Osburn Id 1930. Very good. Folding map 27 x 42 inches. A couple of short separations along folds. Several contemporary pencil manuscript annotations. Light tanning and dust soiling. Scarce map of tunnels and several surface constructions related to the Mineral Point mine in Osburn Idaho operated by the Coeur D'Alene Mines Corporation. The map dates to 1930 and illustrates the tunnel system and existing surface structures of the mine colored in several different shades. The Coeur D'Alene Corporation was organized in 1928 and still exists today as the global corporation Coeur Mining although it divested of its mining interests located near its namesake city in the early 2000s. This map therefore constitutes an important record of one of its earliest mining efforts. unknown books
