Book is in excellent condition with barely discernable wear to covers only. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no notable blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. 23 page staple bound book with color covers, b&w drawings and photos providing an intro to the subject. Sections include Wood carving in Polynesia, The evolution of Maori carving, Wood carvers and their tools, The human figure, Spirals, Carved houses, Hei-Tiki.
