The collection reveals the visual themes and sentimental tropes important to Americans in the 1950s and proudly so as the introduction announces: “In developing the theme American Panorama for the new “Trend of the Times Wallpapers†Virginia Hamill in her special way brings to all Americans not just the obvious pictorial America but also some of the little things that have meant so much to most of us in our remembrances of pleasant happenings and sensations as we grew up.
