Very clean inside, just a bit of oxidizing to the front half-title page and rear endpapers, and a touch of stain to the bottom corner of the last few pages. Fine study on the various kinds of English decorated trays produced between 1550 and 1850. Sections on each type (gold, silver-gilt, silver, Sheffield Plate, Japanned, papier-mache, pottery and porcelain, wood and parquetry, and Turnbridge Ware trays). 455 illustrations including 6 in color. Large folio, 12.5" high X 10" wide, 213 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
