Extract from Encyclopédie ou Dictionnaire raisonné des sciences des arts et des métiers. Produced in the age of Enlightenment this encyclopedia documented all the trades of the time.<br /> <br /> Folio 8pp extract text in two columns complete with the 8 plates the first one being a large folding copper plate entitled 'Fonte Des Cloches Echantillons et Diapasons'. Stitched binding early blue paper wraps printed on the inside with ads for other published works the one at the rear being an architectural history dated 1857. Blue wraps very good.
