Le numerose esperienze, soprattutto quelle fatte in Svezia e Unione Sovietica, gli ispirarono i primi saggi di natura sociologica. Quale inviato speciale, esperto in questioni sovietiche, faceva numerose inchieste, pubblicate su riviste e periodici poi condensate in diversi saggi. L'ultima sua opera (edita dal Club di Autori Indipendenti di Milano, seconda edizione nel giugno 2009) s'intitola Il mio Gesù.
