RARE! This book combines the two 5698 (1937/38) German issues of the semiannual periodical "WIZO Revue" published by the WIZO-headquarters in London. The issues include articles on social or economical topics concerning Israel and 7 b&w photographic plates documenting the activities of the Women's International Zionist Organization. One plate shows a portrait of one of the staff members of WIZO, Anna Jaffe, who passed away shortly before the issue was printed. This book is made especially notable by forewords written by WIZO-founders, among them Vera Weizmann, the wife of Chaim Weizmann. 188x240mm. [48]+[48] pages. Rebound marbled board Hardcover.
