Book is in excellent condition with very light edge wear only. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind and is in impressively fine condition with tipped-in color plates and b&w prints, map endpapers showing the locations of the text. Dust jacket is price clipped and is extensively repaired at edges with scotch tape. Scarce, ESTC gives just 3 locations in the UK (BL, Cambridge and Oxford); Not in the Wellcome Catalogue.

Instructions on blowing up your neighbor's dog, lighting your farts, cutting the brakes on dad's car. Just kidding. 221 pages on using tea kettles, vials with stoppers and rubber hose, coffee cans and turkey basters, string, lima beans for interesting experiments well illustrated with line drawings about plants, animals, rocks, astronomy, air and air pressure, water, machines, forces and inertia (couch lock) sound,heat, the human body (!) .
