Folio 17" x 11" <br/><br/>This menu from the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco is the room service dinner menu which includes a slip of "Dinner Specialties" with dishes of "Slice of Roast Corn-Fed Sirloin" and "Rack of Tender Spring Lamb". The Beverage List suggests a somewhat loose interpretation of Prohibition or else the eager anticipication of its eradication later that year: a typographic box marked "Reserved for Wines and Champagnes" is nestled between the beer list and ginger ales and the beers include Guiness's Stout and several German droughts rather than the typical super-light Anheuser Busch Budweiser varieties manufactured to meet the alcohol level limitations of the time.
