The book is organized into 18 sections starting with Soups Fish Beef etc. and moving to Pies Game Entrées Vegetables and so on. The sections on Puddings and Pastry Cakes and Biscuits seem most interesting. Recipes include Pitcaithy bannock; Old Maid's Cake; Apricot Water Ice; Soufflé of Oranges; Her Majesty's Pudding; Friar's Chicken Soup; Sheep's Head Pie.
