En tout, l'illustration se compose d'une vignette circulaire de couverture à l'eau-forte en couleurs, 1 titre décoré/peint, 1 décor argenté, 1 eau-forte (portrait de Dali) et décor de fond peint, 1 portrait de femme tiré en bleu (carré), 1 vignette carrée et fond décoré (hommage à Dali), 1 page décorée peinture et typographie, 1 grande eau-forte tirée en bleu (14 x 11,5 cm), 1 page décorée argent et peinture orange, 1 vignette hommage aux oeuvres de Dali avec typographie et fond de couleurs, achevé d'imprimer avec peintures de fond, Justificatif avec peinture de fond. Tirage à 78 exemplaires seulement dont 1 exemplaire unique. Celui-ci, 1 des 77 autres sur papier Richard de Bas vélin 240 gr. Signé et numéroté par l'artiste au crayon. L'un des plus beaux livres d'artiste réalisé par Raphael Kleweta (né en 1949). Cet artiste d'origine polonaise a fondé en 1990 les Editions Anima Mundi et a publié plusieurs livres d'artiste dans lequel il mélange papier, estampes originales et typographie, le tout dans un tourbillon de couleurs. Chaque exemplaire est par ailleurs rehaussé de couleurs posées à la main, ce qui le rend unique. Ses livres de bibliophiles sont reconnus et estimés depuis de nombreuses années dans le monde entier. Son travail de graveur a été récompensé par de nombreux prix. Ses ouvrages se retrouvent dans de nombreuses bibliothèques de conservation de par le monde. Ici c'est Salvador Dali qui est mis à l'honneur autour de textes magistralement typographiés et dont l'écriture a été confiée à Béatrice Libert et d'images gravées sur cuivre tirées en couleurs. Le joli et grand cuivre tiré en bleu est d'inspiration surréaliste et parfaitement en phase avec l'oeuvre du maître. Bel exemplaire, tel que paru.

A mint copy of the 30 from the édition de tête on pur fil Johannot numbered XXV in Roman numerals and with Tanguy's original etching also numbered XXV by ink. Only these one have the etching. The original wrappers for the book were designed especially for the first 230 'exemplaires de luxe' of the book, were executed after the maquette by Pierre Faucheux after Tanguy's original drawing.

Durant un an il côtoya Dali dans sa maison à Portlligat (Cadaqués - Espagne). En résulta sa "thèse sur la psychanalyse" du grand peintre. Très bel ENVOI de l'auteur à Davina Delor, de son vrai nom Martine Lahary, qui avec Véronique de Villèle animeront l'émission de télévision "Gym Tonic" sur Antenne 2 de septembre 1982 à juin 1986. Davina rencontre le Dalaï Lama en 2003 et devient en 2004 nonne bouddhiste dans la tradition Gelugpa du Bouddhiste thibétain. Elle créra un Centre monastique à Haims, dans la Vienne. Superbe envoi de l'auteur sur trois pages avec un très beau dessin à la manière de Dali sur la page de titre. PIECE UNIQUE ! Très bon état

Association copy inscribed by the publisher to Salvador Dali "To Salvador Dali - Not as good as your cookbook - but the Spanish edition will be better - Lyle Stuart." The true first edition of this infamous manual that includes instructions on making bombs weapons drugs and much besides. This copy in the rarer hardback edition. Stuart's publishing house developed a reputation as a publisher of controversial books he collaborated with Salvador Dali when he helped publish his set of six lithographs The Lyle Stuart Tarot. A letter of provenance accompanies this book. Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Introduction by Peter M. Bergman. An exceptional association. Written by William Powell as a teenager and first published in 1971 at the height of Vietnam War protests and the counterculture movement in the United States 'The Anarchist Cookbook' was created as an educational tool meant to teach the general public "that violence is an acceptable means to bring about political change" and provide them with the skills to do so. The book contains instructions for the manufacture of explosives rudimentary bugging devices lethal and nonlethal weapons as well as instructions for the home manufacture of illicit drugs including LSD. When Powell converted to Anglicanism in 1976 he attempted to have the book removed from circulation but because the copyright had been issued to the original publisher Lyle Stuart and subsequent publishers that purchased the rights circulation continued until 1991.
