PROVENANCE: From the library and with the signature of Jan Stussy 1922-1990 noted artist and Academy Award-winning filmmaker. 'Stussy a West Coast artist with works in many museums and private collections. was a former chairman of the art department at UCLA and the first artist to be appointed as a senior professor by the university. Although he was primarily known as a prolific painter with some 5000 works to his credit Mr. Stussy frequently worked in other artistic arenas. Signed by the artist and author on the justification page. Some minor foxing throughout some offsetting from prints.
