La mostra e' una testimonianza della produzione di Miro' nell'arco di tempo che va dal 1953 al 1959, anni in cui, con le sole eccezioni di pochi dipinti su cartone, l'artista spagnolo si dedico' prevalentemente alla ceramica e all'incisione. Dopo un nuovo soggiorno negli Stati Uniti nel 1959, Miro' riprese a dipingere.
