Contains 68 plates of engraved monograms late 19th century designed & engraved by H. Renoir58 rue Nve.St. Augustin Paris and printed by Sarazin Paris. All letters of the alphabet are depicted in all possible combinations two or three plates a letter 1 plate of general monograms. H. Renoir is Pierre-Henri Renoir 1832-1903 an engraver of gems who had published several works on engraving and design. He was the elder brother of impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
