They were published by Knapton originally C1740 this impression is c1820. Jacobus Houbraken was a Dutch line engraver who is known best for this series of portraits. unknown

Holbein is regarded as the premier portrait painter of all time and was attached to the court of Henry VIII. of the many copies of the Dance of Death this one is quite scarce There is a copy in the British Library.
