Ludwig Blum (1891-1975) was a Czechoslovakia-born Israeli painter who emigrated to Israel in 1923, and became known as "the painter of Jerusalem" due to his faithful, yet charming depictions of the Old City and the hills of Jerusalem, and the surrounding Judean desert.
