Inscripción en la base de la imagen con dedicatoria de Jackson a William Windham: "Gulielmo Windham Armigeero Artium Elegantiorum Fautori hanc Tabulam humillime Dedicat J B Jackson" y "Paolo Veronese Pinxit / J B H f 1740". El grabado de Jackson reproduce un retablo veronés pintado por Paolo Veronese hacia 1765-1570 para la iglesia de Santa Caterina dei Sacchi ahora colgado en la Galleria dell'Accademia de Venecia. John Baptist Jackson 1701-1780 fue un pintor y grabador británico.
