This superb example of fine printing features a linocut by Artemio Rodriguez showing the famed Mexican singer Isabel Vargas Lizano known as Chavela wearing her trademark jorongo. Issued in commemoration of the centenary of her birth. Four decimas by renowned poets in her honor have been finely printed letterpress at the Taller Martín Pescador. The 'decima' is a ten-line form of poetry generally consisting of four stanzas forty lines in an ABBAACCDCC rhyme scheme.
