Spine lettering a tad rubbed else tight and internally fine. Handsome early printing entirely in Latin of this Dominican text written in 1870 that translates "Mirror of the Preacher Brothers." Penned in red opposite half-title page is the adminition "This book is to remain in this room -- write no name in it" -- and facing leaf of course bears an inked gift inscription to "The Mother General" of a noted Wisconsin convent signed "J.T. McN--" and dated 4 August 1910 with another convent's oval blue inkstamp below and on rear inner flyleaf. Quite a handsome copy. H. Dessain hardcover
