Dann folgen sieben durch Bilder und Texte erläuterte Kapitel mit einem allegorischen Bild und das achte Kapitel ist - wie in einer barocken Kantate - der virtuose Abschluss 'Amen'. Die lateinisch und französisch in einen Kreis und ein Achteck geschriebenen heiligen Worte sind umrahmt von einer wundervollen Arabeske aus abstrakten Ornamenten und naturalistischen Girlanden von Pflanzenmotiven. Die ureigenste Meditation ist jedoch als dramatische Szene konzipiert und mit Anklängen an die biblische Genesis in die Urzeit verlegt." J.
