Dore Schary wrote produced and directed the play which ran for 116 performances at the Billy Rose Theatre in 1961. Schary was playwright director and producer for stage and a prolific screenwriter and producer of motion pictures. He was president of MGM studios in the 1950s. In his memory the Anti-Defamation League established the Dore Schary Awards in 1982. Very good copy in red folder brad bound on side.
